JPX Publishes Environmental Data for FY2022

On June 2, JPX published its environmental data for FY2022.

In FY2022, JPX took further steps towards its goal of carbon neutrality by FY2024, including starting to generate its own renewable energy through the acquisition of generation facilities using proceeds from its green bond. As a result, total CO2 emissions in Scopes 1 and 2 fell by over 20% from the previous year.

Environmental data disclosed by JPX cover, in line with financial data, 100% of the global operations of JPX and JPX Group companies (Tokyo Stock Exchange, Osaka Exchange, Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Japan Securities Clearing Corporation, JPX Market Innovation & Research, and Japan Exchange Regulation).
