Japan Exchange Group, Inc. (JPX) announces that it has joined the Net Zero Financial Services Providers Alliance (NZFSPA) to help achieve a decarbonized economy.

The NZFSPA is a global group of financial services providers committed to supporting the goal of global net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 or sooner, in line with the ambition to limit the global temperature increase to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.

JPX has created an Environmental Vision and Policy and is aiming to build a sustainable economy through developing and maintaining an environmentally-friendly capital market. We have also set out a Green Strategy in our Medium-Term Management Plan 2024 which includes a target of carbon neutrality in Scopes 1 and 2 emissions by FY2024.

By joining the NZFSPA, JPX will further intensify its work toward the goal of net zero.
