Notice regarding Launch of Scheduled Dates of Earnings Releases Information Service
JPX Market Innovation & Research, Inc. (JPXI) will launch a service that provides information in CSV files regarding scheduled dates of earnings releases that are periodically reported to Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) by listed companies, REITs, and infrastructure funds listed on TSE (hereinafter referred to collectively as “TSE-listed companies”) on May 20, 2024.
In order for you to check the data contents, we will provide historical data (for the past 3 years, hereinafter referred to as “the sample data”) free of charge from around February 2024. However, the content and format of the sample data differ in part from the actual files provided in the service.
Service Outline
The service will provide a CSV file based on the information reported to TSE by TSE-listed companies by the day before the data provision date. The file will contain a list of the scheduled dates (time not included) of the earnings releases of TSE-listed companies, and will be provided every business day. The file can be retrieved via file transfer (FTP/SFTP) from JPXI’s information distribution system (TMI).
For the sample data, it will be provided 3 years of historical data (data for each year, 3 files) for the years 2021 through 2023 in a batch via email. Details of the sample data, including how to apply, will be re-announced when the data is available.
Until now, we have posted and provided Excel files free of charge on the “Scheduled Dates for Earnings Announcements” page of our website (Excel files are only available in Japanese). Those Excel files have been posted at the beginning of the month following the end of the corresponding fiscal period, and have been updated as necessary thereafter. The files have also been separated according to the fiscal period of the companies. However, the new service is updated more frequently (the latest information will be provided every business day) and lists all fiscal periods in a single file. In addition, all data will also be available in English.
Please refer to the Guide for details of the service and specifications of the files to be provided.
A sample file (for 1 day) equivalent to the file to be provided in this service is available below.
