Asian Institutional Investors and Entrepreneurs Gathered at JPX-hosted “Japan-Southeast Asia Market Forum / ETF Summit” in Singapore

November 15th 2023, Japan Exchange Group/Tokyo Stock Exchange and JETRO co-hosted an international economic forum "Japan-Southeast Asia Market Forum" at the Marina Bay Sands, Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore. It was a very successful event with more than 350 participants from institutional investors, VCs, startups, and companies from Japan and ASEAN region.
Triggered by global inflation, Japan is facing a turning point of monetary policy, and companies are transforming into profitable structures by improving capital efficiency. In terms of industrial policy, startup-driven innovation and related deregulation are also transforming Japanese society. It is hoped that structural reforms that have been challenged many times in the past will finally be realized against the backdrop of external factors.
At last, Japanese companies are turning their attention to global markets, and Japanese society itself is about to become truly internationalized. There are high expectations for the Japanese stock market from global investors.
