ICMA/JSDA 6th Annual Sustainable Bond Conference (Nov 18)

On November 18, 2022, the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) and Japan Securities Dealers Association (JSDA) will hold their 6th annual sustainable bond conference, themed “Financing a decarbonized and fair society through Sustainable Bonds”.

This event has been held annually since 2017. This year’s will focus on the further development of transition themed bonds, a deep dive into the emerging issues in use of proceeds bond market (e.g. green bonds, social bonds, and sustainability bonds), and expectations for sustainability-linked bonds in the Japanese market, with various case studies and key initiatives from the Japanese government and the private sector.

Financing a decarbonized and fair society through Sustainable Bonds


On the day before this seminar, an Executive Training Course will be held on the same topic.
Lectures will include a practical guide to sustainable bonds, a 2022 update on the green bond and sustainability bond principles, and a lecture on climate transition finance and sustainability-linked bonds.
